The Fire series is particularly unique to Dragon. The blade-shape design is curated from various Japanese knife-making traditions; thinner blades, for example, offer more precise cuts than a thicker blade. Additionally, a gyuto shape promotes a different "slicing/draw-back" style of cut, compared to a western "rock." Couple that with Dragon's standard quality components, such as BD1N nitrogen steel, the fine-grained metal with 63 HRC Rockwell hardness delivers a razor-sharp blade with superior edge retention.
