* *Keep wood knife handles dry and avoid soaking or putting them in the dishwasher. Periodically apply a food-safe mineral oil, wax or wood conditioner to prevent drying, bleeding and cracking. Wipe off excess oil and allow the handle to fully absorb it before use.
