Collection: Slicing Knives
A slicer is thin, long knife, typically between 6" to 14" - depending on the job - with a specialized carnivorous function of carving meats and slicing fish.
The most common sizes found in a home kitchen range between 8"-10". Slicers can also vary in flexibility, and tip type (some are blunt, while others are spear pointed). The most common being rigid/stiff and a spear point, but some are even serrated for cutting turkey or cake.
